Finally some sun...

   After 4 months of the cold, wet winter of the Netherlands, it was nice to escape to Portugal for some sun and warm weather.  We stayed at a beautiful villa in Vale do Lobo with another family, the Hamilton's; Darren, Michele, Owen and Tessa.  

The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday, playing on the beach and finding shells. The adults enjoyed relaxing by the pool and kids that were so tired from the sun and swimming, they went to bed early.

Easter Hat Parade

Greg and Abigail had a great time designing her Easter hat for the British School Eater Hat Parade.  Take one guess what her favor color is...

  

London

For the Feb break we decided to take a family trip to London.  We stayed at a great hotel located in the West End (near Hyde Park).  We enjoyed seeing all the sight, visiting the museums, riding the double-decker buses, taking the tube and great food.  Abigail loved riding the public transit and the fact that every spoke English.

New Bike

After a week of bike riding, I think Abigail could be as good as Amy on a bike.  She loves to ride her bike to the park and around our house.

No more training wheels!!

Our little girl has shed her training wheels. Check this out!!!!

This is her third day without training wheels. She was riding on her second day but we didn't have the recorder with us. Needless to say, we are proud parents!!!

Next week - Ramps and Jumps - At least that what she told us!

Happy Birthday

Abigail celebrated her 4th birthday with a pink princess cake and some of her friends from the British School.

Winter Fun in Amsterdam

Just a few pictures to let you know what kind of fun we have been having this winter. Skating at Museumplein. Abigail says after she learns how to ride her bike on two wheels she will learn how to skate on a single blade. I think that will be next winter.
