Egypt 2007/2008

We went to Egypt (Sharm El Shiek) on Christmas day through New Years Day. Sharm, as the locals call it, is a resort town on the Sani. That is the part between the continet of Africa and the middle east. It is a divers paridise. We had the best intentions to travel to Cairo to see the Pryamids but it never happened. It is OK because we realized this is the first time we saw sun and warm weather since we moved to The Netherlands. We went with two other families (The Talwars and The Hamiltons) 6 adults and 5 kids. A different kind of vacation for us but we had a great time. Lots of pool time and drinks.

My car got stolen

Yes - we are now true Amsterdam residents. My car was stolen yesterday morning. Now I remember why I didn't spring for an expensive bike. The good thing is we had three bikes so I still have one to ride. I will be replacing it in the next couple of weeks.

Abigail's 3rd Birthday

Can you believe that our little girl is 3.  She celebrated her 3rd birthday at her new school, the British School of Amsterdam.  She is getting SO big and is full of words...not sure where she got that from.

She's 3 (or 6 if you count the fingers)...
