We celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary on Friday night. In our usual romantic way we enjoyed a peaceful candlelit dinner at the golden arches followed by an early evening to bed. I did remember to give Amy a present. Who decided what the traditional and modern gifts would be any ways? I went with the traditional gift of wood. When I told Amy that I stuck with the traditional theme of wood she looked at me and said "I get a traditional gift all the time, what is special about that". Even my perverted mind didn't go there. I figured these shoes would remind us of our time in Holland and our 5-year anniversary. Amy proceeded to tell me that one of the shoes was for me and the other was for her because she didn't get me anything. Good thing I am an understanding guy! She also reminded me that next year was our 20th anniversary of first dating. She thinks that she deserves a gift for that. I don't have the heart to tell her that the traditional gift is china and she has to wait until her 60th anniversary to get the traditional gift of diamonds. Well - Now she knows.

Neither you nor Brendan received an anniversary card. I guess I was too busy getting over my So. Carolina trip. Good thing you remembered even if Amy has enough "wood" in her life. She would have been disappointed if you had forgotten.
Get to the doctor! You know the family history on lungs. We don't need you coming back with scarred lungs or skinny from coughing.
Take a picture of Abigail's room so I can talk to her about it.
Happy Anniversary!!!
You were sorely missed at the BBQ and the Baseball game. Try as we might, it was just not the same without the Tam-Naulty's.
The fireworks weren't even as bright after the game. :(
We miss you all, and we are talking to the grandparents about planning our trip over next year. We wish it could be sooner, but alas it can't be.
